The Medical Affairs role is responsible for driving medical strategy, providing scientific expertise, and supporting key business function for the Oncology portfolio. This position serves as a critical link between internal teams, healthcare professionals, and the scientific community to advance medical education, improve patient outcomes, and support product success.
Medical Affairs Responsibilities:
- Medical Strategy Development:
- Design and execute medical affairs strategies to support Oncology portfolio.
- Identify unmet medical needs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions.
- KOL Development and Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to gather insights and disseminate medical information.
- Facilitate advisory boards, scientific meetings, and other collaborative forums.
- Clinical and Scientific Support:
- Provide expertise in clinical development and medical research for portfolio products.
- Review and develop medical content, ensuring accuracy and alignment with regulatory guidelines.
- Team Collaboration and Training:
- Lead and train internal stakeholders, including sales and marketing teams, on therapeutic areas and product knowledge.
- Support cross-functional teams in developing clinical messaging and strategic communication.

Activities:
- Manage Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) and ensure timely completion of Post-Marketing Surveillance (PMS) studies.
- Oversee medical education initiatives, including Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs and congress presentations.
- Contribute to the review and update of safety data and risk management plans, ensuring they align with global and local pharmacological requirements.
