ROLE OVERVIEW/ PURPOSE
- This role is responsible to Identify and evaluate and add products in pipeline for the Europe, AU, NZ Market, focusing on Generic opportunities and differentiated products including simple and complex generics along with Portfolio planning and Portfolio Management.
OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and evaluate and add products in pipeline for the Europe, AU, NZ Market, focusing on Generic opportunities and differentiated products including simple and complex generics.
- Portfolio Planning:
To get overall cost of development, COGS, API availability, RLD availability, capacity planning, capacity specs (batch sizes, trade dressing) for identified opportunities to document and follow on business case, NPV, timelines of filing of identified opportunity to ensure earliest generic entry.
- Do competitive mapping and gap analysis, market review and suggest opportunities for Europe, Australia and New Zealand with product rationale with sales forecast.
- To help source CMO for identified opportunities for EU, AU, NZ portfolio if in-house capability doesn’t exist.
- Analyse the pharmaceutical market to identify gaps and opportunities for both in house and in-licensing opportunities.
- Prepare a comprehensive overview of market performance for Glenmark's competition across all dosage forms.
- Portfolio Management for EU, AU and NZ.
- Evaluate new opportunities and recommend potential additions to the portfolio.
- Conduct risk assessments of the existing portfolio and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare business cases for product or portfolio acquisitions in collaboration with business and Product Development teams.
- Develop a Product Grid for the next five years, considering stakeholder complexities such as R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Clinical, and IP.
- Review and challenge the selected Product Grid on a quarterly basis.
- Establish and maintain strong cross-functional networks within Glenmark.
- Foster relationships with key suppliers, competitors, dossier developers, manufacturers, and other industry stakeholders.
- Attend various conferences and trade fairs to stay updated on industry trends and developments.
- Provide support for business development efforts related to new market entry initiatives.

- To study new therapies and look at Global development and suggest new product ideas for Global development.

Educational Qualifications
- B. Pharma/M. Pharma/PhD in pharmaceutical domain
- M.B.A

-15 years in Portfolio, BD and Licensing
