The Nutritionist - Pre Sales will serve as the first point of contact for prospective customers exploring Upnourish’s weight management and nutrition solutions. This role blends nutrition expertise with consultative selling, helping individuals understand their health needs and guiding them toward science-backed, personalized solutions. The role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to translate nutritional science into actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Engagement & Consultation
- Engage with prospective customers via outbound calls, emails, Whats App, and other digital channels
- Conduct structured nutrition-focused consultations to understand health goals, lifestyle, and challenges
- Build trust through empathetic, solution-oriented conversations
Nutrition Guidance & Solution Recommendation
- Recommend appropriate meal replacement and nutrition solutions based on individual needs
- Educate prospects on product benefits using evidence-based nutrition principles
- Address questions related to weight management, ingredients, usage, and outcomes
Lead Qualification & Conversion Support
- Qualify leads based on readiness, needs, and suitability
- Nurture leads through follow-ups and timely communication
- Support the sales closure process by enabling informed decision-making
CRM & Process Management
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM systems
- Track lead status, follow-ups, and outcomes for reporting and analysis
- Adhere to defined pre-sales processes and compliance guidelines
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Learning
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Nutrition teams to refine messaging
- Share customer insights and feedback to improve offerings
- Stay updated on nutrition trends, weight management research, and industry best practices
Qualifications and
Experience:
- Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field (completed or in progress)
- Strong understanding of weight management, meal planning, and dietary interventions
- 0–2 years of experience in a customer-facing, pre-sales, nutrition counseling, or wellness role (preferred)
- Experience in health-tech, wellness, or nutrition brands is an added advantage.
