Role Purpose

To ensure end-to-end regulatory compliance and timely registrations for Agri Input products across India. The role is responsible for product registrations, license management, manufacturing approvals, and certifications under applicable Acts, enabling smooth business operations and compliant product commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage registration and renewal of products under Fertilizer Act, Insecticide Act, Seeds Act, Bio-stimulant guidelines, and related regulations.
- Handle manufacturing, marketing, and distribution licenses, including amendments and renewals.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities such as CIB&RC, FCO, Central Bio-Stimulant Committee, and State Agriculture Departments.
- Oversee GLP-compliant data generation, dossier preparation, and regulatory submissions.
- Support registration of biofertilizers and microbial products, including mycorrhizal-based formulations, in coordination with R&D and external laboratories.
- Lead Organic and allied certifications (e.g., NPOP, OMRI) and annual renewals.
- Ensure compliance at C&F locations and service centers, including documentation audits.
- Track regulatory changes and proactively advise business teams on compliance impact.
- Manage regulatory observations, misbranding cases, and liaison with authorities when required.
- Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing, and Marketing teams to support compliant product launches and seasonal business planning.

Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate (preferably Law / Agriculture / Life Sciences)
- 8–12 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs / Registrations within Agri Inputs (Fertilizers, Pesticides, Bio-stimulants, Biofertilizers)

Key Skills

- Strong knowledge of FCO, CIB&RC, CBC, GLP, and state licensing frameworks
- Proven expertise in documentation, regulatory filings, and license management

- Experience with microbial and biological products, including mycorrhizal technologies
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and state-wise regulatory requirements
- High attention to detail and strong follow-up orientation
