HCL Discover (formerly IBM Tealeaf) Implementation Architect

As an IBM Tealeaf or HCL Discover Implementation Architect and Specialist, you'll
be the bridge between a client's business needs and the technical execution of the
platform. Your main goal is to ensure a flawless implementation of the HCL Discover
(formerly IBM Tealeaf) platform, enabling clients to capture, analyze, and replay
customer sessions for valuable insights. You'll work closely with clients to understand
their digital business goals and translate them into a technical implementation plan.

Key Responsibilities
 Platform Implementation & Configuration:
Lead the end-to-end
implementation of the HCL Discover platform, including its core components
such as the Passive Capture Application (PCA), Canisters, and Reports. You'll
ensure proper configuration for web, mobile, and other digital channels.
 Event and Dimension Creation:
Work with clients and business analysts to
define and create business-level events, dimensions, and other analytics
artifacts within the HCL Discover platform. This includes capturing user
actions, page views, and specific business processes.
 SDK & Tagging Implementation:
Guide client development teams on the
correct implementation of the HCL Discover SDK and JavaScript tags. You
will be responsible for validating the data capture and troubleshooting any
tagging issues.
 Customer Engagement & Consultation:
Serve as a subject matter expert,
advising clients on best practices for using HCL Discover to gain insights into
customer behavior. You'll conduct workshops and provide training to client
teams on how to use the platform effectively.
 Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving:
Diagnose and resolve technical
issues related to data capture, session replay, and system performance. You
will analyze server-side logs and network traffic to identify root causes of
implementation problems.
 Documentation & Project Management:
Develop and maintain
comprehensive documentation for each implementation, including project
plans, technical specifications, and configuration details. You'll manage
project timelines and deliverables to ensure a successful and on-time launch.
Required

Skills & Qualifications

 HCL Discover Expertise:
Proven, hands-on experience with the HCL
Discover (previously IBM Tealeaf) platform, including its core components,
event model, and administration.
 Technical Acumen: A strong understanding of web technologies including
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.

Experience with mobile app
development environments (iOS, Android) and their data capture methods is a
significant plus.
 Analytical & Problem-Solving

Skills:

The ability to analyze complex data
sets, identify patterns of user behavior, and translate business requirements
into technical solutions.
 Communication & Client-Facing

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written
communication skills to effectively interact with both technical teams and non
- technical business stakeholders. You must be able to clearly explain complex
technical concepts.
 Database Knowledge:
Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing data
within relational databases.


Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
