Job Description:

Power BI, + years Data Data Analyst Lead (10

Analyst experience with 5 years hands-on Power BI)

Candidate shall have over 10 years of experience in data analytics with 5 years of hands-on expertise in Power BI in building and managing advanced BI solutions. The candidate should have a people management experience along with deep understanding of data visualization, report/dashboard creation & proficiency in Power BI. Candidate will collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements, manage data models & deliver insightful analytics solutions.

Candidate should have good understanding of data management, analytics frameworks & cloud-based solutions. This role will involve leading data projects, designing cloud-based data solutions & collaborating with functional teams to deliver actionable business insights

Responsibilities:

Power BI Development

- Lead the development of Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide actionable insights and support business decision-making
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify KPIs & translate them into effective Power BI solutions
- Design and optimize data models to ensure efficient data flow and report performance
- Proficiency in DAX and M language for Power Query, R Programming.
- Experience in managing Power BI deployments, data gateways, and work spaces.
- Expertise in creating and optimizing data models for large datasets.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity & security through proper governance and monitoring of Power BI environments. Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, industry trends & best practices to continuously improve reporting capabilities.

Data Integration

- Connect Power BI to various data sources, including databases (SQL Server, open source database etc), APIs, SAP and other data sources.
- Exposure on design and implementation of data analytics projects using Azure data platform (Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL).
- Hands on experience on developing and managing data pipelines using Data Factory and ensure seamless data integration from multiple sources
- Exposure on utilizing advanced analytics techniques, machine learning & statistical modelling to derive insights from large datasets

- Experience with data integration, and pipeline automation in Azure environment
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and cloud-based data platforms (preferably Azure).
- At least one Azure-based data architecture implementation
- Stay updated with the latest Azure features and updates to optimize and enhance the data architecture.

Key

Skills & Qualifications

- B.E/B.Tech in Engineering or MCA along with certifications in Data Science, Statistics
- 10+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence or data science with hands-on experience in Azure-based data services.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including creating complex dashboards, data visualizations, and interactive reports.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Manage and guide a team of Power BI developers and analysts, ensuring best practices in data visualization, modelling & report development

Preferred Qualifications

- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure AI Engineer Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
- Knowledge of other BI and data visualization tools (Tableau, Qlik, etc)

- Experience with AI/ML frameworks within Azure (Azure Machine Learning)
- Experience in construction domain is a plus
