Job Description:
As a Website Developer, you will be responsible for the development, design, and maintenance of our websites. You’ll work closely with the design and marketing teams to build and improve our online presence, ensuring the website is optimized, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Website Development:
Build responsive, functional websites that are user-friendly and visually appealing.
- Website Optimization:
Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
Identify and fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the website is fully operational and up-to-date.
- Design Implementation:
Work closely with the design team to bring website designs to life while ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
- Content Management:
Manage the implementation and organization of content on websites, ensuring it’s easy to update and maintain.
- Cross-Platform Compatibility:
Ensure websites are cross-browser compatible and responsive across various devices (desktops, tablets, and mobile devices).
- SEO Best Practices:
Apply SEO principles to ensure that the website ranks well in search engines.
- Collaboration:
Collaborate with other team members, including designers, marketers, and product managers, to achieve business goals.
- Security and Data Protection:
Implement security measures and practices to protect the website from cyber threats.
Requirements:
- Proven Experience:
At least 2+ years of experience in website development (portfolio required).
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with website frameworks such as Word Press, Shopify, or custom-built solutions.
- Responsive Design:
Strong experience with responsive and mobile-first design techniques.
- Experience with Backend Technologies:
Experience with backend technologies like PHP, Node.js, Python, or others is a plus.
- Knowledge of SEO:
Understanding of SEO principles and website optimization.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring websites are visually appealing and functionally sound.
- Problem Solving:
Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Communication:
Good communication skills for collaborating with teams and understanding requirements.
- Adaptability:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred
Skills:
- Experience with eCommerce platforms like Shopify or Woo Commerce.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles.
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
- Experience with API integration and third-party tools.
- Familiarity with cloud hosting services (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
