Global Production Data Lead (AI, Automation & Operations Intelligence)

The Global Production Data Lead will oversee the design, implementation, and governance of all data, analytics, and performance tracking across Craft’s global content production ecosystem. You will own the metrics and insights generated from GenAI platforms, automation tools, workflow systems, DAM/PIM infrastructures, and production pipelines—transforming them into actionable intelligence for operational excellence.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in digital production, analytics, and AI-enabled operations. You will shape global measurement frameworks, unify reporting practices across hubs, and ensure that teams worldwide have real-time visibility into performance, productivity, cost efficiency, and quality.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Global Data Stewardship & Measurement Architecture
Define and maintain a unified global data model tracking all operational metrics from GenAI tools, workflow platforms, automation systems, and production channels.
Establish governance protocols ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and comparability across all Craft hubs and studios.
Administrate agreed KPIs and set new ones to evaluate performance across creative, design, video, CGI, localization, and AI-assisted automated production.

AI & Automation Metrics Tracking
Capture, consolidate, and analyze usage metrics from GenAI platforms such as:
ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot
Google Cloud/Vertex server, Adobe Gen Studio, AWS based self hosted infrastructure.
AI copywriting/video/CGI tools
Track model output quality, success rates, productivity impact, cost per generation, latency, and model-to-model efficiency comparisons.
Evaluate automation pipelines built with:
Make, n8n, Celtra/Asana/Jira Automation
Workflow, DAM, and Production Analytics
Build dashboards that centralize data from:
Workflow tools (Adobe Workfront)
DAM/PIM systems (Adobe AEM, Aprimo, Brandfolder, Frontify)
Production and creative tools (Adobe CC, Iconik, Figma, Frame.io, CGI platforms)
Analyze throughput, cycle times, SLA compliance, resource utilization, QA outputs, and content performance across channels.
Insight Generation & Reporting
Produce regular global reports for leadership, including:
Operational health summaries
AI adoption and efficiency insights
Automation ROI
Cost-saving models
Hub performance comparisons (week-over-week, month-over-month, year-over-year)
Automate reporting pipelines wherever possible using AI and business intelligence tools.
Collaboration & Enablement
Partner with Global Operations, Studio Leads, Tech and Data teams to define data needs and translate raw metrics into insights.
Support hubs in troubleshooting data gaps, improving measurement, and increasing AI and automation maturity.
Train teams on reading dashboards, understanding analytics, and integrating insights into their workflows.
Culture, Governance & Quality
Promote a data-first culture grounded in transparency, accountability, and responsible AI usage.
Ensure global teams understand how data informs resource planning, forecasting, and continuous improvement.

REQUIRED SKILLS
Professional Background
10+ years of experience in data analytics, operations intelligence, digital production, or a hybrid role in a global content environment.
Experience working with AI/GenAI tools and integrating their usage data into analytics frameworks.
GenAI Metrics & Tooling Expertise (Required)
Demonstrated experience with usage tracking and data export/API integration for:
ChatGPT Enterprise Analytics Console
Midjourney Grid & Usage Logs
Adobe Firefly Analytics
Runway/Sora generation logs
Copywriting AI platforms
Understanding of how to measure:
Model efficiency
Content quality outputs
Prompt performance
Cost per generation
Quantifiable productivity impact

Automation & Workflow Analytics (Required)
Hands-on experience tracking process metrics from:
Make (Integromat), Workato, n8n analytics
Asana, Jira, dashboards
Google Workspace / Microsoft 365 automation logs
SLA, velocity, throughput, and resource allocation metrics
Data & BI Tools (Strong Requirement)
Proficiency with dashboards and analytics tools such as:
Power BI
Tableau
Looker
Big Query / Snowflake (bonus)
Airtable Interfaces
Experience creating automated data pipelines and integrations using APIs and AI agents.
Technical Skills
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills (including AI-enhanced features).
Comfort with data visualization, trend analysis, forecasting, and predictive insights.
Bonus: ability to script simple ETL/ELT tasks (Python, SQL, or AI-assisted coding).
Soft Skills
Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish or other languages a plus).
