Role Description
Google Ads Performance Manager
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.
This role is about ownership, not execution alone.
You’ll be responsible for planning, running, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns for multiple clients at the same time. This is not a single-brand role and not a set-and-forget position. You’ll manage budgets, performance, tracking, reporting, and client expectations while working closely with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Google Ads Campaign Management
- Plan, build, and manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, You Tube, and Performance Max
- Handle multiple client accounts simultaneously with different goals, budgets, and industries
- Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and competitor analysis
- Write, test, and optimize ad copies focused on qualified leads and conversions
- Set up and optimize bidding strategies based on CPL, CPA, and ROAS goals
- Monitor daily performance and take proactive optimization actions
Tracking, Reporting & Optimization
- Set up and manage conversion tracking using Google Ads, GA4, and Google Tag Manager
- Analyze campaign data to identify opportunities to improve ROI and reduce CPL/CPA
- Prepare clear, actionable performance reports for clients and internal teams
- Run A/B tests on ads, audiences, and landing pages
- Identify and execute scaling opportunities for high-performing campaigns
Client & Team Collaboration
- Act as the point of contact for assigned clients on paid media performance
- Explain results, insights, and next steps in simple, business-focused language
- Coordinate with designers, copywriters, and web teams for creatives and landing pages
- Maintain timelines, priorities, and quality across all managed accounts
- Take ownership of performance without needing constant follow-ups
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads, preferably in an agency environment
- Proven experience handling multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Strong understanding of Google Ads structure, Quality Score, and auction dynamics
- Solid working knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking
- Experience managing medium to large ad budgets with performance targets
- Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with numbers and reports
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize, switch context, and maintain quality under pressure
Good to Have
- Google Ads certifications (Search, Display, or Video)
- Experience with lead generation or local business campaigns
- Basic understanding of landing page optimization and CRO
- Exposure to other paid platforms like Meta Ads or Linked In Ads
