We’re Hiring | Infrastructure Specialist (Cloud & Hosting)

Shift: UK Support Hours (01:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST)

Up to ₹20 LPA

Qualifications

- IT Degree or equivalent practical experience
- Azure certification (preferred)
- ITIL / RHCE / Cloud certifications (nice to have)
- Knowledge of ISO
27001 and security standards

Experience

- Strong hands-on experience with Azure & hosting providers
- Cloud migration and infrastructure design expertise
- Hybrid, cloud-hosted, and physical infrastructure
- Microsoft & Linux server environments
- Infrastructure & development support experience

Role Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Specialist to ensure our IT infrastructure remains secure, scalable, and highly available. You’ll play a key role in cloud hosting, monitoring, data protection, and infrastructure design while supporting business-critical projects and users.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Hosting & SME

- Lead and manage hosting environments across Rackspace and Microsoft Azure
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for cloud infrastructure and migrations
- Oversee configuration and maintenance of VMs, storage, networking, and security
- Support cloud migrations, legacy decommissioning, and new service integrations
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO
27001, and internal security standards

Monitoring & Performance

- Monitor infrastructure, network, and security performance
- Plan and manage capacity, redundancy, and system availability
- Identify root causes and implement permanent fixes

Data & Security

- Ensure data backups, testing, and documentation as per ISO
27001
- Perform data recovery when required

Infrastructure Support

- Provide L2/L3 infrastructure support via helpdesk within SLAs
- Support deployments and releases across environments
- Maintain documentation for change management and best practices

Design, Architecture & Projects

- Work with architects and developers to design scalable platforms
- Review and improve infrastructure designs for business value
- Support agile project teams with environment builds and transitions
- Collaborate with Dev, QA, and Release teams for smooth deployments
- Handle database backups, restores, and script deployments

Required Skills & Knowledge

Technical (Level
2)

- Linux systems
- Networking, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs
- Scripting:
Power Shell, Bash, Terraform
- Azure cloud services

Desirable (Level
1)

- Windows Server
- Azure B2C custom policies
- Databases: SQL, MySQL, Neo4j
- Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, Jenkins
