About the Role
The Marketplace Manager will be responsible for driving brand visibility, GMV growth, and account health for Indian brands selling on international marketplaces. You will own execution while working closely with brands and internal logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Growth & Performance
- Own GMV targets for assigned brands across international marketplaces
- Optimize listings for search visibility, conversion, and compliance
- Identify growth levers including ads, deals, pricing, content, and promotions
- Launch and scale brands/products within defined SLAs
- Use tools like Helium
10, Jungle Scout, Smart Scout for keyword research and competitive analysis
- Thorough understanding of Marketplace Metrics, listings/IDQ score
- Keeping IPI intact and ensuring no products run OOS
Account Health & Compliance
- Monitor seller standards, account metrics, and marketplace policies
- Handle listing issues, account warnings, suspensions, or compliance risks proactively
Inventory & Cross-border Coordination
- Forecast inventory requirements in coordination with Supply Chain & Logistics teams
- Plan FBA/ WFS / FBT / 3P fulfilment shipments and avoid stock-outs or overstocking
- Ensure export-related compliance alignment with operations teams
Added advantage:
Advertising & Optimization
- Plan, execute, and optimize marketplace ad campaigns (Walmart Ads / eBay Promoted Listings)
- Track ROAS, conversion rates, and campaign performance
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience managing international marketplaces (Amazon Walmart)
- Proven ownership of GMV growth and marketplace P&L metrics
- Strong understanding of cross-border e-commerce workflows
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
- Comfortable working with brands, logistics, and internal stakeholders
