Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Techno-Functional Project Manager to lead and manage multiple concurrent in-house application projects for a large enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring timely delivery, high quality, scalability, and alignment with business goals across 20+ active applications.
This role requires strong project management expertise, deep technical understanding, excellent stakeholder communication, and the ability to manage complex, parallel initiatives in an agile and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Domain
- Infrastructure – EPC, Transport, Water Treatment, Tunnelling
Project & Program Management
- Manage multiple ongoing application development and enhancement projects simultaneously.
- Own end-to-end delivery: planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, and closure.
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource plans.p
- Ensure delivery adherence to SLA, quality, and security standards.
- Track dependencies across applications and resolve conflicts proactively.
Techno-Functional Leadership
- Act as a bridge between business users, product owners, architects, and development teams.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa.
- Review system designs, architecture decisions, and technical documentation.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
Application & Delivery Oversight
- Oversee development of web, mobile, and backend applications.
- Manage SDLC across Agile / Hybrid / Waterfall models.
- Ensure proper versioning, release management, and deployment coordination.
- Monitor application performance, stability, and scalability.
Stakeholder & Communication Management
- Work closely with senior management, business heads, and IT leadership.
- Conduct regular status meetings, sprint reviews, and steering committee updates.
- Prepare project dashboards, progress reports, and risk assessments.
- Manage expectations and ensure transparency across stakeholders.
Team & Vendor Management
- Lead cross-functional teams (developers, QA, Dev Ops, UI/UX, analysts).
- Coordinate with external vendors and implementation partners.
- Ensure proper task allocation, performance tracking, and delivery accountability.
- Mentor junior project managers and technical leads.
Risk, Quality & Governance
- Identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks early and implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in development and delivery processes.
Required
Skills & Experience:
Must-Have Skills
- 8+ years of experience in IT Project / Program Management
- Strong techno-functional background
- Experience managing 20+ enterprise applications or large portfolios
- Hands-on understanding of:
- React & Node JS
- Web & mobile application development
- REST APIs, microservices
- Databases (SQL/No
SQL)
- Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Agile / Scrum / Kanban
- SDLC, CI/CD
- Release & change management
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
Good to Have
- Experience with low-code / no-code platforms
- Exposure to ERP / CRM / DMS / Workflow systems
- Knowledge of security, encryption, and compliance standards
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications
- Experience handling internal product platforms
