Senior Drupal Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Drupal Developer with strong expertise in Drupal 8/9/10 and knowledge with the Acquia Platform. The ideal candidate will have proven experience integrating Acquia Content Hub and Acquia DAM, while building and optimizing data-intensive applications. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to design scalable solutions within complex enterprise ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design and development of Drupal-based applications on the Acquia Cloud platform.
- Implement and integrate Acquia Content Hub for multi-site content distribution and governance.
- Develop solutions leveraging Acquia DAM for digital asset management and seamless content workflows.
- Optimize data-intensive Drupal applications ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Build and customize Drupal modules, themes, APIs, and services to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with Dev Ops to manage deployments using Acquia Cloud pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
- Configure and manage content synchronization, personalization, and multilingual environments.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce Drupal/Acquia best practices.
- Monitor and optimize application performance using Acquia Insight, New Relic, and logging tools.
- Stay up-to-date with the Acquia ecosystem, Drupal community, and enterprise CMS trends.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 8 - 12 years of proven experience in Drupal development (Drupal 8/9/10).
- Experience designing and delivering data-intensive applications on Drupal.
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Hands-on experience with API integrations (REST, JSON, Graph

QL).
- Familiarity with Composer, Drush, Git, and configuration management.
- Strong understanding of performance optimization, scalability, and security best practices.

Preferred

Skills:

- Acquia Certifications (Drupal Cloud, Content Hub, or DAM).

- Experience with headless/decoupled Drupal using frameworks like React.js, Next.js, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of enterprise content workflows, personalization, and multilingual deployments.
- Experience in data analytics integrations with Drupal applications.
