As part of our growth plans, we are looking at Open-source specialists with the following credentials to work as Technical Specialist along with our Delivery Team.
About the Role
We are looking for Open Shift specialists to design, deploy, and maintain Open Shift clusters in various environments (on-premises and cloud).
Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain Open Shift clusters in various environments (on-premises and cloud).
Develop and implement best practices for Open Shift architecture and container orchestration.
Monitor and troubleshoot Open Shift performance issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Automate deployment, scaling, and management tasks for Open Shift environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define containerization requirements and solutions.
Ensure security and compliance of Open Shift clusters with industry standards and company policies.
Implement and manage Open Shift virtualization to enable virtual machine workloads within Open Shift.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for managing Open Shift environments.
Monitor and optimize the performance of Open Shift clusters and virtualized workloads.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Open Shift and virtualization environments.
Ensure security and compliance of Open Shift infrastructure and workloads.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Open Shift developments and industry trends.
Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with Linux system administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu), including system configuration, networking, storage, security hardening, and troubleshooting.
In-depth understanding of Linux kernel concepts, processes, file systems, package management, and performance tuning.
Solid experience with Kubernetes architecture, components, and administration (control plane, etcd, scheduler, kubelet, networking, storage).
Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in on-premises and cloud environments.
Strong knowledge of container technologies such as Docker/CRI-O and container lifecycle management.
Experience with Kubernetes networking, ingress controllers, service mesh, and persistent storage concepts.
Knowledge of RBAC, cluster security, secrets management, and Kubernetes security best practices.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Helm).
Experience with scripting (Bash/Python) for automation and operational efficiency.
