Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced F5 WAF Engineer (L2/L3) to manage, configure, and support F5 Advanced WAF / ASM environments. The role involves Level 2/3 operational support, troubleshooting security incidents, implementing security policies, and collaborating with L1, L2, L3 and application teams to ensure secure web applications.

Education and skills:

• B.E. /B.Tech/MCA.

• At least 4 years’ experience in Security device management and operation on WAF F5.

• Good knowledge on different security tools like Network Security (WAF, Network APT, Secure Web Gateway), IAM (PIM, RSA), Endpoint, Security (EDR, DAM, NAC, DLP, FIM, IRM, SIEM/SOAR, Active Directory, Web Application etc..

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for F5 WAF (ASM / Advanced WAF) environments

• Configure, deploy, and manage F5 WAF security policies

• Perform troubleshooting of WAF-related issues, false positives, and traffic blocks

• Monitor WAF alerts, logs, and security events

• Fine-tune signatures, attack mitigation settings, and security rules

• Support incident response for web-based attacks (SQLi, XSS, CSRF, etc.)

• Assist with WAF policy optimization and performance tuning

• Work closely with application, network, and security teams

• Support change management, upgrades, and patching activities

• Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and runbooks

• Escalate complex issues to L3/vendor when required
