Head of Operations

About the Job:

DRChoksey Fin Serv Private Limited is seeking a dynamic and execution-focused Head of Operations – Digital Investment Products to lead operational governance, digital transformation, product innovation, and business growth initiatives for our next-generation investment platform.

This role will be responsible for building scalable operational frameworks, driving automation-led efficiency, enabling seamless product execution, and collaborating across technology, research, sales, and compliance to strengthen our digital investment ecosystem.

The position demands a blend of operational rigor, technology orientation, product thinking, and business acumen within the capital markets and wealth management domain.

Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Operational Efficiency & Governance

- Optimize operational workflows to enhance turnaround time, reduce manual dependencies, and improve accuracy.
- Establish strong governance frameworks for digital investment products.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and audit standards.
- Drive SOP standardization and risk control mechanisms.

2. Digital Transformation & Technology Implementation

- Lead implementation and scaling of digital platforms for automation of client onboarding, execution, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Work closely with technology teams to integrate APIs, CRM, OMS, and back-office systems.
- Identify process gaps and deploy AI/automation solutions to improve productivity and scalability.
- Monitor digital performance dashboards and operational KPIs.

3. Product Innovation & Design

- Collaborate with research and product teams to conceptualize and operationalize new digital investment offerings.
- Ensure seamless product lifecycle management from ideation to execution.
- Improve user journey, platform usability, and client servicing models.
- Support structured investment product rollout aligned with business strategy.

4. Business Growth & Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Drive B2B and platform-level growth initiatives in coordination with sales and distribution teams.
- Strengthen partnerships with brokers, distributors, fintech platforms, and institutional stakeholders.
- Enable operational readiness for scaling client acquisition and revenue growth.
- Act as a central coordination bridge between operations, sales, compliance, and leadership.

Skills Required:

1. Domain

Skills:

- Strong understanding of capital markets, equity products, PMS/AIF structures, and digital wealth platforms.
- Knowledge of investment lifecycle, trade execution, reconciliation, NAV processes, and reporting.
- Familiarity with SEBI regulations, compliance frameworks, and audit processes in wealth/digital investment setups.
- Experience in scaling investment platforms or fintech-led wealth businesses.

2. Technical

Skills:

- Exposure to digital platform implementation (OMS, CRM, back-office systems).
- Process automation and workflow optimization expertise.
- Working knowledge of APIs, system integrations, dashboards, and performance analytics.
- Ability to leverage AI tools for operational efficiency and communication management.
- Strong data interpretation and MIS reporting skills.

3. Managerial

Skills:

- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams (operations, tech, product, compliance).
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination ability.
- Strategic thinking with execution ownership.
- Decision-making under dynamic business conditions.
- Ability to build scalable processes from scratch.

Qualification &

Experience:

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 8–15 years of relevant experience in Wealth Management, PMS/AIF operations, Digital Investment Platforms, or Capital Markets Operations.
- Prior experience in leading operational transformation or digital platform scaling will be strongly preferred.
- Experience in a leadership role managing multi-functional teams is mandatory.
