We are seeking an experienced APM (Application Performance Monitoring) Consultant with expertise in monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing application performance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with leading APM tools such as App Dynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, and ticketing systems like JIRA or Service Now. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless application performance, incident management, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities:
1. APM Tool Expertise
• Utilize APM tools like App Dynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, etc., to monitor and analyze application performance.
• Evaluate and maintain dashboards to ensure optimal application health.
2. Incident Management
• Conduct first-level analysis for incidents and provide detailed incident reports for P1 and P2 issues.
• Track downtime and ensure proactive monitoring to prevent critical failures.
• Maintain and update stakeholders regarding any identified application impacts.
3. Reporting and Analysis
• Generate and analyze reports related to P1 & P2 incidents.
• Monitor success ratios of major applications using APM tools.
4. Collaboration and Client Interaction
• Maintain effective relationships with clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless project flow and timely delivery of results.
Required
Skills and Experience:
• Proven experience working with APM tools such as App Dynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, or similar.
• Proficiency in ticketing tools like JIRA, Service Now, or Mantis.
• Strong analytical skills for incident analysis and reporting.
• Ability to monitor and evaluate dashboards for identifying performance trends and potential issues.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder updates and client interactions.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple incidents and tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications in APM tools or IT Service Management.
• Experience in proactive monitoring and optimizing application performance.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes is a plus.
