Job Title  Technical Support & Pre-Sales Engineer
Experience Required  3–4 years  of hands-on experience in technical support, field engineering, or pre-sales technical roles.
About the Role We are seeking a proactive and hands-on  Technical Support & Pre-Sales Engineer  to support our public safety and law-enforcement technology solutions.
This role combines technical support, pre-sales assistance, customer demonstrations, system installation support, and troubleshooting. The position requires close coordination with sales teams, customers, internal technical teams, and OEM partners to ensure smooth deployment and ongoing support of solutions.

Key Responsibilities Pre-Sales & Technical Support  Support the sales team during customer meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations
Understand customer requirements and clearly explain product features and technical capabilities
Assist in preparing basic technical documentation for tenders, proposals, and RFPs
Support product trials, demos, and proof-of-concept evaluations
Field Support & Troubleshooting  Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers
Install, configure, and test hardware and software systems
Diagnose technical issues and resolve them independently or escalate to internal teams/OEMs when required
Support day-to-day service and maintenance activities post-deployment
Installation & Training Support  Assist during system installation, commissioning, and handover
Support basic user training and on-site hand-holding
Explain system operation and usage in a clear, simple, and user-friendly manner
Documentation & Coordination  Maintain service records, installation reports, and support documentation
Coordinate with internal technical teams and OEM partners for issue resolution
Adhere to company processes, quality standards, and security guidelines
Required Skills  Basic understanding of computer hardware
Working knowledge of Windows OS and basic server concepts
Fundamental networking knowledge (LAN, IP addressing, routers – basic level)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Willingness to travel for customer installations and support
Clear communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach
Education Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in  Electronics, IT, Computer Science, or a related field
(Relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education)
Preferred (Optional)  Experience working with government, police, or enterprise customers
Exposure to surveillance, security, or public safety technology systems

Qualifications
Proficient in Sales Engineering and Sales techniques to support pre-sales processes and technical presentations.
Experienced in Technical Support and providing effective troubleshooting, problem resolution, and technical guidance to clients.
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills for effectively interacting with clients, understanding their needs, and building long-term relationships.
Ability to work collaboratively with technical and sales teams, ensuring seamless integration of solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field preferred.
Familiarity with defense and security technology domains such as drones, robotics, and IoT solutions is a plus.
Proactive problem-solving skills and an ability to work under pressure to meet technical and project deadlines.
