About the Role
We are seeking a Mathematics SME with a strong foundation in advanced mathematics, including Calculus, Linear Algebra, Probability, and Real Analysis. This role requires validating complex mathematical solutions, reviewing symbolic steps, analyzing proofs, and generating high-quality reasoning explanations. You will work on STEM/reasoning datasets, evaluate correctness, detect conceptual or computational errors, and produce clear, gold-standard solution.
Key Responsibilities
Validate step-by-step solutions for advanced mathematics problems across calculus, algebra, probability, and analysis.
Evaluate proofs, symbolic derivations, and logical reasoning for correctness and clarity.
Detect conceptual mistakes, computation errors, notation inconsistencies, or flawed reasoning.
Produce high-quality annotations, corrected steps, and gold-standard explanations.
Review solution chains for completeness, rigor, and mathematical soundness.
Collaborate with dataset and evaluation teams to maintain accuracy and consistency across STEM reasoning tasks.
Skills & Experience Required
BSc/MSc in Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields ;
Olympiad or competitive math background preferred.
Strong knowledge of Calculus, Linear Algebra, Probability Theory, Real Analysis , and general university-level math.
Skilled in advanced math problem-solving, symbolic reasoning, and proof evaluation .
Ability to detect gaps in reasoning, incorrect assumptions, or logically invalid steps.
Excellent clarity in mathematical communication, explanation writing, and structured reasoning.
