Transport Engineer -IP​/MPLS-SDWAN

We are looking for a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME)- IP/MPLS with solid hands-on experience in telecom networks to support our Pre-Sales and Delivery teams. This role is ideal for someone who understands how telco networks work end-to-end and can translate that knowledge into practical customer solutions and smooth project execution.

What You’ll Do

- Work closely with Sales and Solution Architects to design IP/MPLS and Transport solutions for telecom customers.
- Prepare technical inputs, solution designs, and BOMs for proposals.
- Participate in customer calls to explain architectures and answer technical queries.
- Support RFP/RFI responses with accurate design details and network requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to deployment teams during implementation and migration phases.
- Review HLDs/LLDs and ensure solutions align with telco standards, network policies, and customer expectations.
- Assist with troubleshooting complex issues across IP/MPLS and transport layers during delivery.
- Ensure services meet telco-grade performance, reliability, and SLA requirements.
- Support multi-vendor networks:
Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Huawei, etc.

Required Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience working in telecom or service provider networks.
- Deep knowledge of IP/MPLS, including L2/L3 VPNs, Segment Routing, QoS, and Traffic Engineering.
- Expertise in routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, LDP, RSVP-TE.
- Good understanding of Transport technologies like DWDM, OTN, Ethernet transport
- Experience working with multi-vendor platforms such as Cisco ASR/ISR, Juniper MX/PTX, Nokia SR, Huawei NE.

- CCNP/CCIE (SP), JNCIP/JNCIE, Nokia NRS II, MEF certifications.
