Job Description
We are seeking a Varicent Techno-Functional Consultant with strong technical and functional expertise in implementing Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) . The ideal candidate will have experience configuring compensation plans, quotas, and payout structures while working with Sales Planning Modules and Territories .
Mandatory Requirements:
4 to 7 years of experience in incentive compensation management.
Hands-on experience with Varicent ICM v10 implementations.
Strong understanding of sales compensation concepts, including quota setting, payout calculations, and performance measurement.
Experience working with Sales Planning Modules, Quotas, and Territories.
Ability to configure territory rules by groups and types.
Proficiency in SQL for compensation data extraction and analysis.
Experience managing relational databases in a Varicent environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and ensure data accuracy.
Optional Requirements(Good to have):
Varicent certification is a plus.
Experience working with CRM or ERP integrations (Salesforce, SAP, Workday, etc.).
Exposure to multiple industries (medium to large-sized organizations).
Prior experience in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban).
Additional expertise in territory management and quota-based compensation structures.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead end-to-end implementation of Varicent ICM.
Configure compensation plans, quotas, territories, and payout rules in Varicent.
Ensure accurate incentive calculations, troubleshoot issues, and support audits.
Write and optimize SQL queries for compensation data extraction and reporting.
Ensure data integrity across Varicent and integrated systems (CRM, ERP).
Automate workflows for efficient compensation processing.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Sales teams for smooth compensation execution.
Conduct UAT, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure compliance with policies.
Provide user training, documentation, and post-implementation support.
Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprints and process optimization.
Implement best practices to enhance compensation accuracy and efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
4 to 7 years of experience in Varicent Incentive Compensation.
Minimum 2 full-cycle Varicent implementations.
Strong technical background, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or a related field preferred.
