We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Shopify Developer to support the development, performance and scalability of our international Shopify Plus websites. The role requires strong technical ownership across theme architecture, custom functionality, integrations and ongoing platform improvement.
The successful individual must be capable of understanding and implementing complete Shopify architecture across multiple websites, markets and customer journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement and maintain Shopify Online Store 2.0 themes, sections, templates and reusable components.
Take ownership of Shopify theme architecture, code quality, deployment and version control.
Build and optimise custom Shopify functionality using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and relevant APIs.
Support integrations with third-party systems, apps, fulfilment partners, payment systems, CRM, email and analytics tools.
Identify and resolve technical issues affecting customer experience, conversion, performance or trading operations.
Ensure websites are fast, responsive, stable and scalable across UK and international markets.
Work collaboratively with marketing, trading, creative and operational teams to deliver new functionality and website improvements.
Provide clear technical documentation, testing procedures and deployment support.
Essential Experience and Skills
Can speak in fluent English
Hands-on experience on developing and managing Shopify or Shopify Plus websites.
Full architecture experience, including implementing and customising themes, templates, collections, navigation, apps and technical integrations.
Strong technical capability in Shopify Liquid, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
Experience with Shopify Online Store 2.0 and modern theme development.
Understanding of e-commerce UX, conversion, international trading requirements and multi-market website structures.
Confident working independently and taking responsibility for technical delivery.
Mandatory Shopify Certification Requirement
Must hold current, relevant Shopify certification or officially recognised Shopify developer credentials. Should be able to provide the certification including credential name, issuing body, date achieved and any verification reference or link.
Desirable Experience
Shopify Plus experience across multiple international websites.
Experience with internationalisation, multiple currencies, delivery logic, tax, ERP, CRM or fulfilment integrations.
Experience with in home, furniture, lifestyle or premium consumer retail.
