Network Engineer L2 - Institutional Equities

Roles & Responsibilities :

Design and implement functional network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN).
Configure and install hardware devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system availability.
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including patches, service packs, and security configurations.
Implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
Collaborate with IT teams to optimize network performance and user experience.
Document network configurations, procedures, and changes.
Provide technical support and guidance to users and teams.
Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery operations.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Skills and Qualification :

Proven experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator.
Strong understanding of network infrastructure and hardware.
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network equipment.
Expertise in networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.).
Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices.

Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Solar Winds, PRTG).
Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, ) preferred.
