Role Overview
The Manager – Product Strategy will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives, product innovations not only be limited to finance , might work on other strategy initiatives from corporate teams within Car Trade Labs. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, strong business acumen, and a passion for leveraging technology to solve complex financial and customer challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the strategic planning, product vision, and execution of Fin Tech innovation initiatives.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, customer discovery, and ecosystem mapping to inform product strategy and business decisions.
Ability to deeply understand, evaluate, and analyze customers to design and optimize seamless end-to-end digital product experiences.
Define and communicate product roadmaps, business objectives, and growth strategies aligned with company goals.
Lead and Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Business teams to conceptualize, build, and launch new Fin Tech products.
Develop customer journeys and product experiences that simplify financial transactions and improve user adoption.
Evaluate regulatory requirements and ensure product initiatives align with applicable financial services regulations and compliance frameworks.
Identify and establish partnerships with banks, NBFCs, insurers, payment service providers, and Fin Tech platforms to accelerate product innovation.
Define KPIs, monitor product performance, analyze customer behavior, and leverage data-driven insights to optimize outcomes.
Drive experimentation, rapid prototyping, and agile execution to validate new business models and product hypotheses.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, emerging technologies, and competitive developments within the Fin Tech landscape.
Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA from a reputed institution preferred.
3 plus years of experience in Product Management, Business Strategy, Fin Tech, Digital Financial Services, Consulting, or related domains.
Good to have experience of working in Fin Tech products such as lending, payments, insurance, wealth management, embedded finance, credit platforms, or financial marketplaces.
Strong understanding of financial services ecosystems, customer journeys, risk frameworks, and regulatory considerations.
Proven ability to translate business opportunities into scalable product solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data to drive decision-making.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
Experience working with agile product development methodologies and cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with emerging technologies including AI, Generative AI, data analytics, and automation within financial services is highly desirable.
Experience in innovation labs, startup ecosystems, incubators, accelerators, or high-growth technology companies will be an added advantage.
