Role Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Service Now Developer with 9+ years of hands-on expertise in Service Now development, implementation, and customization across ITSM, Vulnerability Response (VR), Security Operations (Sec Ops), and Integrations.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in JavaScript, Glide APIs, workflows, Flow Designer, integrations, and platform customization, along with the ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, configure, and customize Service Now solutions across ITSM, VR, and Sec Ops
Build and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server, and third-party tools
Develop Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, Catalog Items, and Flow Designer solutions
Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, effort estimation, and implementation planning
Troubleshoot platform issues, debug scripts, and optimize performance
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders
Support upgrades, patching, and instance maintenance
Follow Service Now best practices, coding standards, and governance guidelines
Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives
Required Skills:
9+ years of Service Now development experience
Strong expertise in ITSM, VR, Sec Ops, and Integrations
Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Client Scripts
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, MID Server, and third-party integrations
Good understanding of CMDB, Service Now data model, Workflows, and Flow Designer
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Certifications:
CSA – Mandatory
CIS-ITSM / CIS-VR / CIS-Sec Ops – Preferred
CAD – Preferred
Good to Have:
ITOM, Discovery, CMDB, or IRM experience
App Engine and Workspace development
Security tool integrations (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Crowd Strike)
Dev Ops, Automation, and CI/CD exposure
Service Portal and UI Builder experience
Client-facing workshops, demos, and technical documentation
