Description:
The IT Support Officer will be responsible for managing end-to-end IT operations for ONESEA group companies (Singapore and India). This role requires close collaboration with the headquarters in Singapore to ensure smooth IT functionality and alignment with corporate standards. Key responsibilities include providing technical support in areas such as network and firewall management, backup systems, and IT asset tracking. The officer will also be responsible for preparing comprehensive documentation and handling various IT administrative tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
Provides day-to-day support for a wide range of technologies including:
Microsoft Azure & AWS
Office 365, SharePoint, Exchange, Teams
VMware, Hyper-V, Windows Server
Fortinet, network switches, and access systems
Citrix Cloud, HCI, Oracle systems
Provides end-to-end support for shore and vessel users by resolving hardware, software, and system-related tickets. Performs routine maintenance to prevent issues, responds promptly to critical alerts, and manages Level 1–3 escalations, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.
Maintains comprehensive documentation of systems, procedures, and issue resolutions to ensure continuity and knowledge transfer. Provides training to users and IT staff and develops user guides and support materials to promote effective learning and system adoption.
Supports IT procurement, system deployments, and works with vendors to deliver business-aligned solutions.
Performs additional tasks as required to support IT initiatives and contribute to the organization's overall strategic objectives.
Requirements:
Degree or diploma in IT, computer science or similar
Azure, MCSA/MCSE, Sharepoint Certifications
ITIL Foundation and CCNA certification
Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT role
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment as a team
Highly organized with attention to detail
Excellent understanding of IT systems and infrastructure
Additional Desired
Qualifications:
CISSP
Experience with the maritime industry

Physical Requirements:
Availability via a company-provided mobile device outside of office hours
Ability to lift up to 25 kg
Sufficient mobility to complete equipment installations, cabling and other setup tasks
