Required Skills / Experience
Azure Platform Support
Experience troubleshooting Azure App Services
Understanding of Azure networking concepts related to App Services
Ability to diagnose application deployment, runtime, and connectivity issues
Familiarity with Azure resource permissions and RBAC
Application Insights / Monitoring
Strong comfort level with Azure Application Insights
Ability to query and analyze logs using Kusto Query Language (KQL)
Experience identifying application failures, performance bottlenecks, and exception traces
Ability to use provided troubleshooting KQL queries and adapt them as needed
Azure Service Bus
Experience troubleshooting Azure Service Bus queues/topics/subscriptions
Understanding of message flow, dead-letter queues, and retry behavior
Ability to identify stuck or failed message processing scenarios
Microsoft Entra / Identity
Familiarity with Microsoft Entra and troubleshooting
Basic understanding of authentication, service principals, and enterprise applications
Familiarity with Entra Verified and operational troubleshooting
Microsoft 365
General Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting experience
Ability to validate tenant configuration and related integration dependencies
Power Shell
Strong Power Shell scripting and troubleshooting experience
Ability to execute remediation scripts, gather diagnostics, and perform operational tasks on Azure-hosted resources
Operational Troubleshooting
Ability to follow documented runbooks and escalation procedures
Comfortable analyzing logs, service health, and application behavior
Experience supporting production SaaS or cloud-hosted applications
Ability to independently diagnose issues before escalating to engineering teams
Azure Functions
Experience with Azure Function Apps
Understanding of HTTP-triggered functions and proxy scenarios
Helpful for support of Android VC request proxy deployments if required
NICE TO HAVES
Node.js Troubleshooting
Basic Node.js runtime troubleshooting experience
Ability to access application nodes/instances if deeper diagnostics are required
Infrastructure & Dev Ops Exposure
Familiarity with CI/CD deployment concepts
Basic understanding of containerized deployments
Experience working with Azure CLI
Security / Identity Background
Experience supporting IAM, MFA, identity proofing, or credential-based platforms
Familiarity with audit logging and security event analysis
Additional Operational Considerations
The primary operational focus area would likely be:
Application Insights monitoring and KQL-based troubleshooting
Azure App Service operational support
Service Bus diagnostics and remediation
Power Shell-based remediation activities
The support model would also require:
Appropriate RBAC access to Azure resources
Access to Application Insights and log analytics work spaces
Escalation procedures for situations where deeper infrastructure/node access is required
Runbooks/playbooks for common remediation scenario
