Key Responsibilities:

Good understanding of Technical SEO including crawlability, indexation, redirects, Core Web Vitals, page speed optimization, sitemap, robots.txt, and overall website SEO hygiene. Should be capable of coordinating with developers and agencies for implementation.
Hands-on experience in On-Page SEO activities such as meta title & description optimization, heading structures, internal linking, image alt tags, and content optimization for category, product, and landing pages.
Strong understanding of keyword research, competitor analysis, SEO trend analysis, and content structuring. Candidate should stay updated with latest Google algorithm updates, search trends, and evolving SEO best practices.
Experience working with SEO & analytical tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush/Ahrefs for monitoring rankings, traffic trends, technical audits, and SEO performance reporting.
Responsible for maintaining weekly and monthly SEO performance reports, tracking keyword rankings, traffic movements, implementation status, and identifying growth opportunities based on data insights.
Ability to coordinate with external SEO agencies and internal teams to ensure timely execution of SEO recommendations. Candidate should be execution-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.
Experience working on ecommerce websites, preferably Shopify-based stores, with understanding of collection pages, product pages, filters, and SEO best practices for ecommerce websites.
Basic understanding of user experience (UX), content hierarchy, and conversion-focused page structuring to improve organic performance and engagement.
Familiarity with AI-assisted SEO workflows and content research tools is an added advantage.
