Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Dev Ops & Support Lead with 8+ years of overall Dev Ops experience and 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing advanced Salesforce support, driving issue resolution, monitoring platform health, troubleshooting integrations, and ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of Salesforce applications.
This role requires a strong blend of Salesforce administration, development support, Dev Ops practices, and stakeholder engagement, along with the ability to mentor team members and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Salesforce-related technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the resolution of critical technical and business issues, ensuring timely and complete problem resolution.
Provide proactive platform support through system monitoring, performance analysis, capacity planning, and service optimization.
Monitor Salesforce platform health, usage limits, integrations, and operational performance to minimize disruptions.
Serve as the Salesforce Subject Matter Expert (SME), reviewing technical solutions, guiding team members, and driving best practices.
Develop and maintain knowledge base documentation, operational runbooks, and troubleshooting guides to improve support efficiency.
Support developers in troubleshooting Salesforce integrations, APIs, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce applications.
Investigate and resolve complex production issues involving integrations, workflows, automation, and custom developments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in release management, deployment support, and operational readiness activities.
Ensure adherence to modern development practices, governance standards, and Salesforce platform best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of overall experience in Dev Ops, Application Support, or Platform Support environments.
Minimum 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience.
Strong experience with Salesforce Administration and Salesforce Consulting.
Hands-on expertise in Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex development.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce APIs, integrations, and troubleshooting techniques.
Experience debugging and supporting Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce custom applications.
Good understanding of SQL, JavaScript, and Salesforce development frameworks.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience working in Agile and modern software development environments.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
Exposure to CI/CD and Dev Ops practices within Salesforce environments.
Knowledge of release management, deployment automation, and platform governance.
Experience supporting enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations.
Salesforce certifications are a plus.
