Senior Informatica MDM Specialist

* We are looking for a seasoned Senior Informatica MDM Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Master Data Management solutions across enterprise data domains. You will be a key technical driver in ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and governance across all business units.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, and implement end-to-end Informatica MDM Hub solutions including schema design, landing tables, staging tables, and trust & validation frameworks.

* Lead the configuration and customization of MDM Hub components:
Source Systems, Match/Merge rules, Hierarchy Manager, and Data Director (IDD).

* Define and implement data governance policies, data stewardship workflows, and master data lifecycle management processes.

* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into scalable MDM solutions for domains such as Customer, Product, Supplier, and Employee.

* Integrate Informatica MDM with upstream/downstream systems via ETL pipelines (Informatica Power Center / IICS) and REST/SOAP APIs.

* Design and enforce data quality rules using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) in conjunction with MDM workflows.

* Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and MDM Hub administration in production environments.

* Lead and mentor junior MDM developers; conduct code reviews and establish development best practices.

* Support MDM upgrades, patches, and migrations across environments (Dev → QA → Prod).

* Produce technical documentation including solution design documents, data flow diagrams, and runbooks.
Required

Skills & Qualifications

* 8+ years of hands-on experience in Informatica MDM Hub (versions 10.x / 10.5+).

* Strong expertise in MDM Hub architecture: SIF, ORS, Hub Console, Process Server.

* Proficiency in Match & Merge configuration, survivorship rules, and duplicate detection.

* Experience with Hierarchy Manager and Business Entity Services (BES).

* Solid SQL skills (Oracle / SQL Server / Postgre

SQL) for MDM repository queries.

* Hands-on experience with Informatica Power Center or IICS for data ingestion into MDM.

* Knowledge of Informatica Data Director (IDD) and workflow configuration.

* Experience with data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM).

* Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs for MDM system integration.

* Strong understanding of data modelling and master data domains (Party, Product, Location).

* Informatica MDM or Power Center certification.

* Experience in multi-domain MDM implementations (Customer 360, Product 360).
