We are seeking an experienced Retail Application Developer with strong Visual Basic programming skills and expertise in AWS, ETL processes, and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and supporting applications within the retail industry, preferably in a multi-channel environment encompassing stores, e-commerce, and other sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Visual Basic technologies.
Develop and support ETL processes to facilitate data integration and transformation across multiple systems.
Work with AWS cloud services to build, deploy, and support scalable solutions.
Integrate and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications and related business processes.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements.
Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
Ensure data accuracy, system performance, and application reliability.
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation activities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process and technology enhancements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong hands-on experience in Visual Basic (VB/) application development.
Experience working with AWS services and cloud-based application environments.
Solid understanding and practical experience with ETL tools and data integration processes.
Experience supporting or integrating with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
Strong SQL and database development skills.
Experience in application troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization.
Domain Experience
Proven experience as a developer within the Retail industry.
Strong understanding of retail business processes and systems.
Experience working in a multi-channel retail environment, including stores, e-commerce, and omnichannel operations.
Exposure to inventory management, order management, merchandising, pricing, promotions, or customer-facing retail systems is preferred.
Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
Knowledge of retail data architecture and reporting solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Experience Required
5+ years of application development experience.
Relevant experience in Visual Basic, AWS, ETL, Oracle EBS, and retail application development.
