We partner with Private Equity clients and their Portfolio Companies across diverse sectors, including Retail, CPG, Healthcare, Media & Entertainment, Technology, and Logistics helping them unlock value, drive performance, and make smarter, faster decisions powered by data and AI driven insights.
D&A team members deliver data and analytical solutions designed to streamline reporting capabilities and enhance business insights across vast and complex data sets ranging from Sales, Operations, Marketing, Pricing, Customer Strategies, and more.

Role Overview :
The Business Director at Accordion will own multiple client relationships and provide analytics-oriented thought partnership. (S) he will oversee multiple project teams to facilitate delivery of high-quality analytics services and identify opportunities for deeper client engagement. The role also leverages modern data, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to enhance decision-making, improve efficiency, and deliver deeper business insights.
What You will do:
Develop a thorough understanding of client’s business challenges to proactively recommend analyses that can deliver results for the client.
Facilitate value addition to the client’s business by driving the problem-solving process and bringing an independent perspective based on domain knowledge and past experience, while leveraging AI-enabled productivity tools where relevant.
Use advanced analytics and AI-assisted capabilities to improve speed and depth of analysis
Regularly engage in peer level discussions with the C-Suite of client companies, to partner with them as a trusted analytics & AI advisor, bringing data-driven and forward-looking insights. Develop a robust knowledge of functional areas (Marketing, Finance, Pricing, Supply Chain etc.) across a diverse set of industries to provide relevant and actionable insights backed by robust analytics.
Facilitate people development and proactively ensure that development agenda is fulfilled for all. Coach and develop team members on both core consulting capabilities and AI-enabled working practices.
Think from a company point-of-view and take up additional responsibilities outside of regular client projects to support the growth of the company.
Ideally, you have:
Undergraduate degree (B.E/B.Tech.) from tier-1 colleges
MBA degree from top tier colleges is preferred
Should have 6 - 10 years of experience
Strong analytical reasoning & problem-solving capabilities to identify patterns, draw insights and recommend solutions live.
Ability to share complex thoughts and tailor written and verbal communication based on the context.
