Desktop Support Engineer – L2
We are looking for a highly skilled Desktop Engineer to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users and ensuring the smooth operation of desktop systems and related software.

Key Responsibilities:
· Desktop Support:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware.
· Software Installation & Configuration:
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications and other necessary IT tools.
· System Upgrades & Maintenance:
Perform system updates, patches and upgrades to ensure that desktops and laptops are running the latest software and security features.
· Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including network connectivity, performance and system crashes.
· End-User Support:
Respond to requests for technical assistance via phone, email, or in-person, providing exceptional customer service to all end-users.
· Asset Management:
Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including computers, peripherals, and accessories, and ensure they are properly tracked and managed.
· Documentation:
Maintain detailed logs of all technical issues and resolutions for future reference.

Collaboration:
Work with the IT team to implement and troubleshoot new software and hardware solutions for the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a Desktop Engineer (L2) or in a similar IT support role.
· Strong knowledge of latest Windows operating systems (Windows 10, 11, etc.), software applications, and troubleshooting tools.
· Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting and repair (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.).
· Experience with remote desktop tools and support systems.
· Solid understanding of network concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Should have experience to support VIP users
