About the company  We are a fast-growing ecommerce brand operating on Shopify Plus. We are looking for an exceptional Senior Shopify Plus Developer who can own complex technical implementations, deliver high-quality code at speed, and act as a trusted technical partner to our Product Manager.
This is not a role for general Shopify developers.
We are specifically seeking someone who has built sophisticated Shopify Plus experiences, understands advanced ecommerce architecture, and can confidently solve complex business requirements through scalable technical solutions.
The ideal candidate combines strong engineering fundamentals, product thinking, clean code practices, excellent communication skills, and a proactive ownership mindset.

What You'll Do Shopify Plus Development & Architecture  Build, customize, and optimize Shopify Plus storefronts
Design and implement complex Shopify solutions aligned with business objectives
Develop scalable custom themes and ecommerce functionality
Create solutions for advanced product structures, merchandising, and customer experiences
Review, optimize, and improve AI-generated code outputs
Advanced Ecommerce Implementations Work on projects involving:
Complex product variant structures
Linked metafield logic
Product bundle builders
Mix-and-match bundles
Subscription products
Product configurators
Custom pricing logic
Shopify Markets
Regionalized content experiences
Personalized audience segmentation
Rich media and animation implementations
Omnichannel ecommerce experiences
Integrations & Custom Workflows  Build and support integration-heavy Shopify environments
Implement custom workflows and automations
Manage product feeds and inventory synchronization
Support ERP and third-party platform integrations
Troubleshoot and optimize complex technical ecosystems
Product & Technical Collaboration  Work directly with the Product Manager
Participate in daily standups and sprint planning
Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Provide proactive recommendations and technical guidance
Ensure thorough QA before Product Manager UAT

Required Experience   Strong 4+ years of Shopify Plus development experience
Proven track record building complex Shopify solutions
Experience working in fast-moving ecommerce environments
Deep understanding of Shopify architecture and custom theme development
Strong Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Shopify ecosystem expertise
Experience collaborating directly with product and business stakeholders
Ability to balance execution speed with code quality

Technical Experience Required  Candidates must have hands-on experience with several of the following:
Large product variant structures
Custom product options beyond Shopify variant limitations
Product bundles and bundle builders
Subscription commerce
Linked metafields
Multiple templates per page type
Pricing and merchandising experiments
