Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer / Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Amplience CMS integrations, cloud-native data platforms, and API-driven architectures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and managing scalable data pipelines and integrations connecting Amplience CMS with eCommerce systems, analytics platforms, personalization engines, and enterprise data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines integrating Amplience CMS with downstream enterprise systems.

• Build and manage RESTful and Graph

QL API integrations for content and product data exchange.

• Develop cloud-native workflows for ingestion, transformation, and delivery of data.

• Collaborate with content, frontend, commerce, and analytics teams to ensure seamless content delivery and availability.

• Implement robust monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting mechanisms for production systems.

• Optimize data storage, processing, and pipeline performance for scalability and cost efficiency.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and security standards across systems.

• Support CI/CD pipelines and follow Dev Ops and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices.

• Work on event-driven and asynchronous data processing architectures.

• Provide root cause analysis and production support for critical issues.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards and architectural decisions.

Required Skills:

• 6–10 years of experience in Data Engineering or Platform Engineering roles.

• Hands-on experience with Amplience CMS (Dynamic Content, Content Hub, APIs).

• Strong programming experience in Python or Java or Node.js.

• Strong expertise in REST APIs and Graph

QL integrations.

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and workflow orchestration tools.

• Experience with SQL and No

SQL databases.

• Knowledge of event-driven architectures using Kafka, SNS/SQS, or Pub/Sub.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.

• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and distributed teams.
Preferred

Skills:

• Experience in eCommerce or Digital Experience platforms.

• Exposure to headless CMS architecture and composable commerce ecosystems.

• Experience with containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes is an advantage.
