About the Role
As a Jira Administrator (L1, you'll take ownership of our complete Jira ecosystem and ensure it operates efficiently, securely, and at enterprise scale. You will:
Responsibilities
Govern and manage the Jira environment with best practices
Design, configure, and optimize complex workflows
Handle integrations and automation using APIs
Ensure the tool is structured, scalable, and aligned with business operations
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Manage and maintain Jira for performance, stability, and scalability.
Configure projects, workflows, issue types, screens, schemes, and custom fields.
Define and manage user roles, groups, and permission schemes securely.
Create dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
Handle API integrations and automation scripting for system connectivity.
Integrate Jira with Dev Ops tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot performance, configuration, and integration issues.
Maintain documentation for workflows, governance policies, and configurations.

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Experience:
1+ years as a Jira Administrator or similar role in enterprise environments.
Required Skills
understanding of Jira administration & configurations
knowledge of workflows, issue types,
experience with Jira plugins and marketplace apps
Experience with Jira API integrations
Preferred Skills
Experience with Jenkins, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
