Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle CPQ Support & Administration Specialist to manage the administration, configuration, enhancement, and production support of the Oracle CPQ platform. The role is responsible for ensuring system stability, pricing accuracy, seamless integrations, and efficient quote-to-cash (Q2C) processes across production and non-production environments. The individual will serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Oracle CPQ and collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, Product, and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Support (L1/L2)
Provide L1/L2 support for Oracle CPQ across Production and Non-Production environments.
Monitor system health, alerts, incident queues, and service performance.
Perform incident triage, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Coordinate with L3 support and development teams for complex issue escalation and resolution.
Ensure timely response and resolution in accordance with defined SLAs.
2. Platform Administration & Configuration
Administer Oracle CPQ environments, including user management, roles, permissions, and access controls.
Build, configure, and maintain product catalogs, pricing structures, and business rules.
Develop and support BML (Big Machines Language) scripts and configuration logic.
Configure approval workflows, product configuration rules, commerce processes, and quote generation functionality.
Maintain system configurations and ensure adherence to platform governance standards.
3. Pricing & Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) Management
Manage and maintain pricing models, price lists, discount structures, and pricing formulas.
Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies and approval workflow issues.
Support end-to-end quote lifecycle management and quote generation processes.
Ensure pricing accuracy and compliance with business policies and approval requirements.
4. Integrations & Data Management
Support and maintain integrations between Oracle CPQ, Salesforce CRM, ERP systems, and middleware platforms.
Manage synchronization of product, pricing, customer, and transactional data.
Troubleshoot and support API-based integrations using REST and SOAP web services.
Collaborate with integration teams to ensure reliable and secure data exchange.
5. Release & Change Management
Manage the Oracle CPQ release lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and post-release validation.
Coordinate migration activities across Development, Test, and Production environments.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and deployment validation activities.
Ensure structured change management processes and governance compliance.
6. Governance & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary Oracle CPQ Subject Matter Expert (SME) and key point of contact.
Partner with Sales, Finance, Product, and IT teams to understand business requirements and implement solutions.
Maintain system documentation, configuration standards, support procedures, and operational runbooks.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform performance and user experience.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle CPQ Cloud.
Mandatory experience in BML scripting and Oracle CPQ configuration.
Expertise in product configuration, pricing models, and commerce processes.
Experience with REST and SOAP APIs and system integrations.
Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM and ERP systems.
Functional Knowledge
Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) processes.
Experience with pricing strategies, discounting models, and approval workflows.
Ability to work closely with Sales Operations and business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.

Qualifications & Experience
5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle CPQ.
Proven experience supporting and administering Oracle CPQ in enterprise environments.
Experience managing multiple environments, including Development, Test, and Production.
Strong background in L1/L2 production support and incident management.
Experience working in large-scale enterprise applications supporting Sales and Finance users.
