About Us
The Souled Store is a homegrown youth casual-wear brand founded in 2013. Today, we are
one of India’s largest online merchandising platforms, with licensing partnerships including
Disney, Warner Bros., WWE, IPL and Viacom
18 among others.
We create products inspired by pop culture - superheroes, movies, TV shows cartoons—while
also staying deeply rooted in evolving youth fashion and lifestyle trends. Alongside our core
men’s and women’s apparel categories, we are actively expanding into new product lines
such as active wear, Supima products, personal care (perfumes), footwear and backpacks.
While we began as a digital-first brand, we have steadily expanded into offline retail and
currently operate 70 stores across India, with further pan-India expansion underway.
The Souled Store was built on a simple belief: people do their best work when they love what
they do. We believe work should be driven by ownership, curiosity, and leadership at every
level - not just by titles. Over the years, we’ve built a team of like-minded individuals who work
smart, take accountability, and grow with the business.
If you resonate with our culture and want to be part of an aggressively scaling, consumer-first
brand, we’d love to have you join us.
Role Summary
This is not a traditional product role. While you will own product thinking across our apps and
internal tech products, the primary mandate is to be the bridge between our business teams
and the tech team.
Business teams — CX, Retail, Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations — constantly face
problems that have technology as the answer. These often come in as vague pain points or
manual workarounds. Your job is to take those conversations, understand what is actually
broken, define the right solution, and work with tech to get it built, shipped, and adopted.
If you can speak both languages — business and tech — this role is built for you.
Roles & Responsibilities
● Embed with business teams to deeply understand workflows, pain points, and
inefficiencies
● Convert loosely defined business problems into structured product briefs — clear
requirements, user stories, and prioritized scope
● Own solution definition end-to-end — from problem articulation through build, QA,
deployment, and post-launch adoption
● Own and maintain the product roadmap for internal tools and consumer-facing
products where needed
● Write PRDs, groom backlogs, and prioritize in collaboration with engineering and
design
● Be the consistent point of contact between business stakeholders and tech — manage
expectations, communicate progress, flag risks early
Qualifications & Skills
● 8+ years of product management experience, with meaningful time spent working
closely with business or operations teams
● Strong ability to structure ambiguous problems and translate them into clear technical
requirements — this is the core skill
● Comfortable with Agile/Scrum, user stories, backlog grooming, and sprint planning
● Experience in e-commerce, D2C, retail-tech, or consumer internet preferred
● High ownership mindset — follows through from problem identification to measurable
business impact, not just feature delivery
Position Requirements
10+ Years
work experience
