About Int Verse.io
Int Verse.io is an AI-first technology services and consulting firm. We build, run, and improve the data and platform capabilities our clients depend on to make decisions. Our model is simple. We put senior, accountable practitioners onto delivery teams that own outcomes, and we use automation and AI to make that work faster, cleaner, and more auditable.
About the Engagement
This role is part of a strategic data governance engagement that Int Verse delivers for one of our clients, a large global organisation with operations across multiple regions. You will join the Int Verse delivery team that owns data quality and governance for a complex global product master data environment. You will work closely with the client's data owners, regional teams, and technology stakeholders, while remaining part of, and accountable to, the Int Verse team.
We are not naming the client publicly at this stage. Suitable candidates will receive full context during the process.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to take ownership of data quality and governance within this environment. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will not only execute validations and mapping work, you will define the rules, resolve the difficult cases, and influence how governance is done across regions. You will be the person the team relies on when a mapping decision is ambiguous, a data quality issue keeps recurring, or a governance exception needs judgment.
Because of current delivery timelines on this engagement, we are considering only candidates who can join immediately, with no notice period.
Key Responsibilities
Data quality and mapping leadership
Lead the review, validation, and approval of complex product mapping outputs across systems and regions.
Own the identification and resolution of recurring data quality issues, including structured root cause analysis and permanent corrective rules.
Define, document, and refine mapping rules, validation frameworks, and decision logic so that outcomes are consistent and repeatable.
Make and defend judgment calls on ambiguous mappings and exceptions, with clear rationale.
Governance and standards
Ensure adherence to the client's mapping standards, governance frameworks, and data policies across all regions.
Act as the subject matter expert for the mapping process and for product data hierarchy structures.
Contribute to the design and continuous evolution of global data governance processes and controls.
Cross-functional collaboration
Partner with the client's data owners, regional teams, IT, and governance stakeholders to resolve complex, cross-system issues.
Provide decision support and guidance on data-related topics, including exception handling and escalations.
Act as the bridge between business and technical teams, translating business requirements into structured, testable logic.
Process improvement and automation
Drive continuous improvement of validation processes, controls, and data quality frameworks.
Support and influence automation and AI-assisted mapping initiatives, ensuring proper validation and governance controls are in place before scale.
Identify and pursue opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and auditability across the data lifecycle.
Documentation and auditability
Maintain clear, current documentation of mapping rules, decisions, exceptions, and governance processes.
Uphold high standards of traceability, transparency, and audit readiness at all times.
Coaching and quality assurance
Mentor junior analysts on best practices, methodologies, and data judgment.
Review team outputs for quality, consistency, and compliance with governance standards.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of experience in data analysis, data quality, or master data management.
Hands-on experience defining, applying, and governing product master data and data governance frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex validations and own data quality end to end, not only execute tasks.
Advanced Excel, including complex formulas, large datasets, and efficient data manipulation.
Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to identify patterns, root causes, and systemic data issues.
Proven ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment with a high degree of ownership and professional judgment.
Fluent English, written and spoken.
Available to join immediately, with no notice period.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of SQL and data querying.
Experience with data mapping and hierarchy structures.
Exposure to automation, AI-supported tooling, or modern data platforms.
Experience working across global, cross-functional environments such as LATAM, EMEA, North America, and APAC.
Key Competencies
A strong data quality and governance mindset.
Advanced problem solving and analytical capability.
Clear communication with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment.
High ownership,…
