As part of its continued expansion in India, our client is seeking a  Technical Solutions Lead (Data Center)  to serve as the technical bridge between customers, commercial teams, and internal delivery functions. This is a high-impact role ideal for professionals who enjoy combining technical expertise, customer engagement, solution development, and strategic business support.

The Role
As the  Technical Solutions Lead,  you will be the primary technical point of contact for hyperscale, cloud, and enterprise customers throughout the pre-sales and early project development phases.

You will work closely with commercial, engineering, design, operations, and delivery teams to develop customer-centric solutions that are technically sound, commercially viable, and aligned with project objectives.

This role offers the opportunity to influence some of India's most significant data centre developments while working directly with leading technology companies and cloud providers.

Key Responsibilities
Act as the lead technical advisor for customers during solution development and pre-sales engagements.
Gather, analyse, and translate customer requirements into practical and scalable data centre solutions.
Partner with commercial teams to support customer presentations, solution proposals, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations.
Lead and coordinate responses to customer RFPs and technical bid submissions.
Work closely with engineering, design, construction, and operations teams to validate solution feasibility and delivery requirements.
Develop and maintain technical solution templates, bid documentation, and customer-facing collateral.
Support strategic customer discussions and contribute to future capacity planning and expansion initiatives.
Ensure proposed solutions align with local regulatory requirements, technical standards, and customer expectations.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related discipline).
Approximately 7–10 years of experience in customer-facing technical roles such as:
Solutions Engineering/Technical Pre-Sales/Solutions Architecture/Design Management/Customer Solutions
Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure, including:
Power systems/Cooling systems/Connectivity/Capacity planning
Experience supporting hyperscale, cloud, colocation, mission-critical, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
Ability to engage confidently with customers, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery considerations.
Experience managing technical proposals, tenders, and RFP submissions.
Knowledge of Indian data centre regulations, codes, and approval processes would be advantageous.
Willingness to travel across India as required.
