Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Informatica Cloud Application Integration (CAI) Developer who will design, develop, and deploy API-led integrations and real-time orchestration solutions using Informatica IICS (CAI + CDI).
The ideal candidate is hands-on, collaborative, and has a strong understanding of integration patterns, XQuery, REST/SOAP APIs, and cloud-based architectures.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end integrations using Informatica CAI and Cloud Data Integration (CDI).
- Build and maintain service connectors, process objects, and APIs for real-time and batch integrations.
- Develop XQuery and Expression transformations for data mapping and transformation logic.
- Integrate with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Snowflake, SQL Server, and REST/SOAP endpoints.
- Design and manage error handling, fault tolerance, and process orchestration within CAI.
- Collaborate with solution architects to translate business requirements into scalable integration designs.
- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and CI/CD pipeline deployments.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and support operational readiness.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–9 years of overall IT experience with at least 3+ years in Informatica IICS CAI.
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- CAI (Cloud Application Integration)
- CDI (Cloud Data Integration)
- XQuery, JSON/XML parsing, and API integrations
- Proficiency in building and deploying REST/SOAP services, process orchestration, and real-time integrations.
- Familiarity with IICS components such as Process Designer, Application Integration Console, and Secure Agents.
- Experience with error handling, logging, and retry mechanisms in CAI processes.
- Exposure to API Gateway / Cloud deployment models (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Good communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience integrating Salesforce, Workday, or Snowflake using CAI.
- Familiarity with IDMC, Data Quality (IDQ), or MDM components.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks.
