Fund Accountant

About the Role     We are looking for a hands-on analyst who will build, automate, and optimize operational workflows across Fund Accounting Operations. The ideal candidate is strong in   Excel Macros/VBA, SQL   ,   Power Automate   ,   BI Publisher   and   Power BI   , with a preference for candidates experienced in   Oracle SQL   and comfortable working with Wealth Spectrum (SQL-based) / Multifonds data structures.

You will partner with FA Ops and Tech teams to deliver robust automation, reconciliations, and MIS/analytics solutions that scale.

Key Responsibilities
Automation & Tooling
Design, develop, and maintain   Excel VBA/Macro   solutions (data processing, reconciliations, validations, templates).
Build   Power Automate flows   to orchestrate approvals, notifications, file movement, and scheduled data refreshes.
Create and maintain   Power BI   dashboards /   BI Publisher   for Fund Accounting BAU.
Data Engineering & SQL
Write efficient   SQL queries   (preferably   Oracle SQL  ) to extract, transform, and validate data from Wealth Spectrum and related upstream/downstream systems.
Ensure data quality with robust controls, logging, and exception handling.

Required Skills & Experience
2–4 years   of experience in automation/analytics roles in BFSI, Asset Management, Fund Accounting, or similar operations.
Advanced Excel + VBA/Macros   (modular code, error handling, performance optimization).
SQL proficiency   (joins, window functions, CTEs, performance tuning;
Oracle SQL   preferred).
Power Automate   (cloud flows, connectors, triggers, scheduled jobs, error paths).
Power BI   (data modeling, DAX basics/advanced measures, row-level security, scheduled refresh).
Strong understanding of   data quality, reconciliations, and controls   in an operations environment.

Good to Have
Exposure to   Wealth Spectrum   or other PMS/AIF/fund accounting platforms.

Experience with   APIs   , JSON file processing, and scheduled jobs.
Basic   Python/R   for data manipulation (optional).

Experience with   Power Apps   for light front-ends or request forms.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, Finance, or related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g.,   Microsoft Power Platform   ,   Power BI Data Analyst   ,   Oracle SQL  ) are a plus.
