The OSS Developer / Consultant – Order & Service Management (OSM) will be responsible for the design, development, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle Order and Service Management (OSM) solutions to support end-to-end order orchestration, decomposition, and fulfillment. The role focuses on ensuring customer orders are accurately routed across Oracle Siebel, BRM, UIM, and ASAP systems while providing reliable fallout management and recovery.
The ideal candidate will have 4–8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle OSM or similar order orchestration platforms.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Oracle OSM cartridges, including Task, Process, and Data cartridges, to support order orchestration and decomposition.
Configure and manage order fallout handling, automated recovery rules, and manual fallout procedures to ensure successful order fulfillment.
Build and maintain integrations between Oracle OSM and Siebel, BRM, UIM, and ASAP through Oracle AIA, while optimizing performance for high-volume order processing and complex product bundles.
Troubleshoot production order fallout issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement timely resolutions within agreed SLAs.
Support release activities, regression testing, go-live deployments, and production cutover to ensure successful solution delivery.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4–8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle OSM or equivalent order orchestration platforms.
Strong knowledge of Oracle OSM Design Studio, cartridge development, and order orchestration modeling.
Experience with XQuery, XSLT, Web Logic Server, and strong SQL skills using Oracle Database.
Good understanding of telecom order management processes, from order capture through fulfillment.
Experience with Oracle RODOD-based BSS/OSS stacks, Oracle OSM performance tuning, or Oracle AIA/SOA Suite for cross-system integration is an added advantage.
