Apmosys Technologies is seeking a visionary, dynamic, and highly articulate  Head of Automation  to lead our entire automation testing delivery and engineering practice. This strategic leadership role requires a blend of deep technical automation expertise, robust team management capabilities, and exceptional client-facing skills. You will drive the automation roadmap, elevate delivery standards, manage enterprise-level clients, and cultivate a high-performing engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and operational leadership to the entire automation engineering team.
Establish performance standards, career progression frameworks, and continuous upskilling initiatives for automation engineers and leads.
Optimize resource allocation across multiple global projects to maximize automation ROI and delivery efficiency.

Client & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary technology partner and advisor for enterprise clients on all matters related to QA automation.
Demonstrate strong client-facing acumen, handling technical presentations, project discoveries, and strategic solution engineering pitches.
Translate complex technical automation frameworks into business value propositions for executive and C-level stakeholders.

Technical Strategy & Execution
Architect, evaluate, and scale next-generation automation frameworks across diverse technology stacks (Web, Mobile, API, and Desktop).
Drive the integration of test automation pipelines directly into CI/CD workflows to support robust Dev Ops models.
Keep Apmosys at the forefront of the industry by identifying and integrating emerging trends like AI/ML-driven testing, low-code automation tools, and shift-left testing methodologies.

Required Technical

Skills & Qualifications
Core Experience
Proven track record of managing large-scale automation practices and delivery teams.
Extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining robust open-source and commercial automation frameworks from scratch.
Deep expertise across tools and technologies such as  Selenium ,  Appium ,  Playwright ,  Cypress ,  Rest Assured ,  Jenkins , and major Cloud environments.

Professional Competencies
Smart & Articulate Communication:  Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills are mandatory to effectively bridge technical engineering teams with business clients.
Consultative Approach:  Ability to assess complex legacy environments and architect structured automation roadmaps.
Strong financial and operational acumen to monitor project health, cost-benefit metrics, and SLA compliance.

Education
B.E. /

B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related engineering field.
