• Nmap / Masscan – basic network scanning, port enumeration & service detection

• Hashcat / John the Ripper / Hydra – weak-password checks, result normalization & credential validation

• Python / Bash – basic scripting for scan automation, output parsing & evidence collection

• MITRE ATT&CK Framework – foundational TTP understanding, finding categorization & kill-chain mapping

• PTES / OSSTMM / NIST SP 800-115 – structured penetration testing methodology fundamentals

• CMDB & Asset Inventory Tools – scope management, asset-list alignment & inventory maintenance

• ITSM & Ticketing (Service Now / Jira) – evidence attachment, revalidation tracking & ticket hygiene

• Documentation & Audit Support – PoC preparation, artefact organization, evidence-store management & knowledge-base contributions
