Data Centre Operations Engineers

We are building an on-site Data Centre Operations team for a new IDC managed-services project in Navi Mumbai.
Open Positions
Team Lead / Senior Data Centre Engineer – 1 position
Requirements:
At least 7 years of data-centre or infrastructure operations experience
Experience leading an on-site technical operations team
Strong service-management, reporting and customer communication skills
Knowledge of incident, problem, change and escalation management
Able to manage shift rosters, SLA performance, operational reporting and vendor coordination
ITIL knowledge or certification is preferred
L2 Data Centre Engineer – 3 positions
Requirements:
3–5 years of hands-on data-centre operations experience
Experience supporting servers, storage and network equipment
Able to perform hardware troubleshooting, parts replacement, rack-and-stack and structured cabling
Basic network troubleshooting, console connection and link-status checking
Experience with OS installation, IP configuration and remote-hands support
Able to handle incidents independently and coordinate with remote L3 teams or vendors
L1 Data Centre Technician – 2 positions
Requirements:
1–3 years of data-centre, infrastructure or hardware-support experience
Hands-on experience with rack-and-stack, cabling and equipment installation
Able to replace basic hardware components and connect power, network and console cables
Experience maintaining asset records, work logs and equipment movement documentation
Willing to learn and work under the guidance of L2 engineers and the Team Lead
Key Responsibilities
Provide 24×7 on-site IDC operations and remote-hands support
Install, remove, restart and replace servers, network equipment and hardware components
Perform rack-and-stack, cabling, patching and equipment interconnection
Support OS installation, IP configuration and management-card setup
Assist with console access and execute approved scripts or instructions
Troubleshoot hardware, connectivity and cabling issues
Coordinate with customers, remote engineers and third-party vendors
Maintain asset inventory and inbound/outbound equipment records
Conduct regular inspections and promptly escalate incidents
Prepare work logs, incident reports and operational documentation
Follow all authorization, security, safety and change-control procedures
General Requirements
Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications or a related discipline
Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CCNA, CompTIA or server-hardware certifications are advantageous
Good communication, documentation and teamwork skills
Must be willing to work rotating day and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Must be able to work on-site in Rabale, Navi Mumbai
Must be legally authorised to work in India
