Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
SAP Vistex Functional Consultant
with 5+ years of experience in
SAP Material Master and Vistex DMR , preferably within
SAP S/4
HANA
environments. The consultant will be responsible for functional solution design, configuration, enhancements, project delivery, UAT, release management, and ongoing system support.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the
Functional SME for SAP Material Master and Vistex DMR , driving system enhancements, workflows, and solution design.
Lead end-to-end functional activities for
SAP S/4
HANA / Vistex DMR
initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise/global ERP architecture.
Gather business requirements, perform impact analysis, prepare functional designs, and provide effort estimates.
Configure and support
SAP Material Master and Vistex DMR
functionality.
Work closely with SAP SD/MM/FI and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
Manage
change requests, enhancements, releases, and production support
activities.
Drive
SIT, UAT, change management, deployment, and post-go-live support .
Prepare functional specifications, test scenarios, validation documents, and other project documentation.
Ensure system changes comply with applicable
IT controls, SOX/GxP, validation, and documentation requirements , where applicable.
Coordinate with business stakeholders, technical teams, AMS/support teams, and external vendors.
Provide knowledge transfer and ensure effective handover to business and support teams.
Identify opportunities for
process automation, optimization, and system improvements .
Proactively manage functional risks, dependencies, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of hands-on SAP functional experience , with strong expertise in
Material Master
and
Vistex DMR .
Strong experience in
SAP Vistex configuration and functional processes .
Hands-on experience with
SAP S/4
HANA
environments.
Good understanding of integration with
SAP MM, SD, and FI .
Experience in Vistex functionality such as
DMR, Rebates, Pricing, Royalties, Chargebacks, or Incentives
is preferred.
Experience in
requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, UAT, and production support .
Strong understanding of
change and release management
processes.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience in
Life Sciences / Pharma ERP implementations
is an added advantage.
Exposure to
GxP, SOX, and validated environments .
Knowledge of
ITIL frameworks
and structured IT service management.
Experience working with external vendors or AMS partners.
SAP/Vistex certification is an added advantage.
