Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Network L2 Support Engineer with strong hands-on experience in network configuration, implementation, troubleshooting, and End User Computing (EUC/WUC) .
The candidate should be capable of independently handling day-to-day network configuration and L2 troubleshooting , while also supporting end-user devices, applications, and connectivity-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
Network Configuration & L2 Support Provide L2 support for enterprise network infrastructure
Perform hands-on configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting of network devices
Configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, access points, and other network devices
Configure and manage VLANs, trunk ports, access ports, and port security
Perform basic routing configuration and troubleshooting
Configure and troubleshoot IP addressing, subnetting, DHCP, and DNS
Configure and troubleshoot Wi-Fi / wireless connectivity and access points
Configure and troubleshoot VPN and remote-access connectivity
Perform network changes such as port configuration, VLAN assignment, IP changes, and network access
Troubleshoot connectivity issues across LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/VPN
Perform network device health checks and basic monitoring
Analyze network issues using Ping, Tracert/Trace route, Ipconfig, Nslookup and similar tools
Troubleshoot network authentication and access-related issues
Work with firewalls for basic troubleshooting and coordinate with the security/network L3 team for advanced changes
Identify and resolve network issues within defined SLA timelines
Perform basic root-cause analysis for recurring network issues
Coordinate with L3 teams, ISPs, vendors, and internal teams for complex incidents
Maintain network configuration documents, diagrams, and support documentation
EUC Provide L2 support for End User Computing
Troubleshoot Windows laptops, desktops, hardware, software, and peripherals
Handle user calls, tickets, remote support, and onsite support activities
Troubleshoot Windows OS and enterprise application issues
Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, and One Drive
Support domain join, user account issues, and basic Active Directory administration
Perform software installation, patching, upgrades, and endpoint configuration
Support SCCM and Microsoft Intune, Create and Deploy packages in Intune and SCCM
Configure and support Windows Autopilot
Perform OS imaging, device provisioning, and endpoint configuration
Troubleshoot Windows Registry and system-level configuration issues
Create, package, publish, and deploy applications using SCCM/Intune
Manage laptops, desktops, printers, and other peripherals
Handle laptop theft/loss processes including device lock/wipe coordination
Maintain asset inventory and technical documentation
Skills Required Networking Strong hands-on experience in Network L2 Support
Hands-on experience with network device configuration and troubleshooting
Switch configuration – VLAN, trunk, access ports, port security
Router configuration and basic routing concepts
TCP/IP, IP addressing, subnetting
DHCP and DNS configuration and troubleshooting
LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting
VPN configuration and troubleshooting
Basic firewall concepts and troubleshooting
Network monitoring and incident management
Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting tools/commands
Ability to independently configure and troubleshoot network issues before escalating to L3
EUC Experience in EUC / WUC / Desktop Support – L2
Windows 10/11 troubleshooting
SCCM / Microsoft Intune
Windows Autopilot
Windows Registry
OS imaging and device provisioning
Basic Active Directory administration
Microsoft 365 support
Service Desk / Process Service Now, Jira, or similar ITSM tools
ITIL/process knowledge
Good customer handling and communication skills
Strong incident troubleshooting and documentation skills
Ability to coordinate with L3 teams and vendors
Willingness to work in rotational shifts
Preferred Experience in an Enterprise Network + EUC Technical Service Desk environment
Hands-on experience in network configuration and implementation
Experience handling SLA-based support
ITIL certification/process knowledge
Good customer and stakeholder management skills
