Founding CTO / Technology Leader – AI Career Intelligence About the Opportunity

Skills Capital is looking for an exceptional Chief Technology Officer (CTO) / Founding Technology Leader to lead the technology vision, AI architecture, product engineering, and technology strategy behind our next major growth opportunity: a global AI-native Career Intelligence platform for technology professionals.

This is not a traditional CTO role focused on managing engineering teams, maintaining existing systems, or executing a fixed roadmap. It is a builder's role.

You are not starting from zero. Skills Capital already has an operational technology foundation, including an AI-Native Talent Engine, proprietary Talent Intelligence capabilities, and Agentic AI-driven workflows deployed in real business environments.

Your opportunity is to extend this foundation into a new B2C opportunity at the intersection of AI, Talent Intelligence, Career Tech, professional technology, and the Future of Work.

You'll work directly with the founders and leadership team to architect and build the next generation of AI-powered products.

What You'll Own
1. Extend the Existing AI Foundation

Leverage and evolve the AI-Native Talent Engine, Talent Intelligence platform, matching and evaluation systems, Agentic AI workflows, semantic intelligence, and data infrastructure for the B2C Career Intelligence opportunity.

2. Define Technology Vision

Own the long-term technology architecture and engineering strategy for the Career Intelligence platform.

3. Architect the Intelligence Layer

Design architecture supporting professional intelligence, market intelligence, recommendations, personalization, and AI-powered workflows.

4. Lead AI & LLM Strategy

Determine how to use:

- LLMs and AI agents
- RAG
- Semantic search
- Recommendation systems
- Machine learning
- Knowledge graphs
- Structured intelligence
- Workflow automation

to create differentiated product experiences.

5. Build the Product

Work with founders and product leadership to turn the vision into a production product. Determine what to build, reuse, redesign, automate, and where AI should be applied.
