Supply Chain Planner

Role Overview
The SCM Planner will be responsible for driving demand forecasting, inventory planning, and supply planning activities to ensure efficient and uninterrupted supply chain operations. The role focuses on improving forecast accuracy, optimizing inventory levels, supporting production and material planning, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the supply chain function. The position plays a critical role in ensuring alignment between Sales, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams while improving operational efficiency and minimizing supply chain disruptions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and seasonal patterns to forecast future product demand and improve forecasting accuracy through AI-based forecasting tools and analytical models.

• Monitor forecast performance metrics such as MAPE, identify demand fluctuations, and support monthly and quarterly demand planning cycles in collaboration with Sales and Business teams.

• Manage inventory planning and supply planning activities to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing stockouts and overstocking.

• Align supply planning with production schedules and ensure timely procurement and availability of raw materials and inventory requirements.

• Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams for inventory movement, replenishment planning, and inventory health monitoring across locations.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to monitor delivery timelines, resolve supply chain disruptions, and improve vendor and distributor performance.

• Maintain planning data and system parameters within ERP/WMS platforms such as Zoho and in-house systems while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

• Generate reports and dashboards to monitor supply chain performance, inventory status, forecast accuracy, and operational KPIs.

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities while supporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to ensure alignment of planning activities and smooth execution of supply chain operations.

• Participate in planning and review meetings, identify process gaps, and contribute towards scalable planning and forecasting frameworks.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, inventory management, or related roles

• Strong understanding of demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory management, and production planning processes

• Hands-on experience with ERP/WMS platforms such as Zoho or equivalent systems

• Proficiency in Power BI, AI-based applications, advanced Microsoft Excel, and supply chain analytics tools

• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities with ability to interpret large data sets

• Experience in generating dashboards, operational reports, and actionable supply chain insights

• Excellent cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management, and communication skills

• Strong ownership mindset with attention to detail and operational accuracy

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment
